Katerina is one of those young scientists who can "design" a whole project in their mind and subsequently transfer it to paper using formal language to express client requirements and technical specifications. She joined Ekkotek in July 2012. She is also a talented and efficient programmer of Apps for all types of mobile devices. She is credited for the development of more than a dozen Apps, including Apps that teach kids ICT concepts and safe Internet behaviors, help them send reports when they encounter something disturbing, strange or harmful while they are surfing online, "intelligent" educational games, Apps that support communication and information access among people from different Cypriot communities, such as names of villages and places on the island and others.

Katerina's main contributions, however, are Apps designed to harness the collective intelligence and collective wisdom of groups.

Katerina holds a BSc in Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2012).
